Successor to the 550 Spyder, the 718 was one of Porsche’s most successful race cars in the late 1950’s and early 1060’s. With its flat-four motor, the small and light 718 continued the “giant killer” reputation of the 550 Spyder. Unlike the heavy and powerful v12 of its Ferrari competitors, the Porsche was light, nimble and very rigid, easily allowing it to win its share.
This original sketch portrays the Porsche 718 in motion and was drawn using gray tones pulled from Sherwin Williams farmhouse color palettes, to help the artwork compliment a wide range of room colors and decor. This car wall art is perfect for nursery wall art for future auto enthusiast kids of tomorrow. It also makes a great gift for car guys and a great gift for dad, any time of year.
